So yesterday I mentioned my friend who is pregnant. And I am REALLY happy for her, but what I didn’t mention is that she battled infetiltiy for many years, for 8 years to be exact. She had 2 miscarriages, and then with the help of Fertiboost she fell pregnant again, and with the help of a FS from Vitalab she carried the pregnancy full term and now she has a 4 month old boy, and she is 8 weeks pregnant. So things i have learnt from her so far:
1. Dont wait for anything, if you want to try. Try NOW!!! Tomorrow may be to late
2. You are stronger than you think you are, when you have to be strong for soemone else, you find strength inside you that you never new you had
3. Never let people get you down, never let things stop you.
4. When you believe, it helps to achieve.
6. Friends, family, and love can get you through, the darkest and hardest times
7. Sometimes you need someone to nudge you in the right direction, to help you open your eyes
and the last but by no means the least number 8.
P and I will be parents one day. And we will be great parents, not because we are infertile, infertiltiy does not make you a good parent, not because we have wanted this for so long, time does not make you a good parent, but because we have love, we have support and we have each other.
So thanks Ang for making me realise that dreams do come true. And making me believe that I will beat this!!!!

Great post Mel, really! I do believe you and P will be parents one day. Sometimes it takes a quiet “knowing” for one’s dreams to come true.
